Transport loads over 3.5 meters wide require a pilot vehicle for escort. This is a legal safety requirement to alert other drivers of a wide or extra large load on the road. Depending on the time, location and size of the transport, one or two pilot vehicles may be required.
Colpak simplifies the process by having our pilot vehicle and drivers with pilot licenses. At times, it is difficult to secure a pilot vehicle and driver at the time and location you need them. Colpak has one as required to avoid delays in transport times or added complications.
