Our mechanics: keeping Colpak’s fleet in top shape

John, Colpak’s head mechanic, brings years of expertise to his work on Colpak’s fleet – which is what helps him take on some of the typical duties of keeping our trucks in optimal condition, which include full checks, servicing, and even undertaking major rebuilds.

Every vehicle in the fleet undergoes regular preventive maintenance by the Colpak mechanical team to make sure they’re prepared for the long hauls and rough terrains they encounter on a daily basis.

A top-notch fleet is the most essential part of maintaining Colpak’s reliable service, which is why we spare no expense in making sure our mechanical team are able to maintain it and exceed the highest standards in order to meet our standard of safety and customer satisfaction.

Our dispatchers: the brains behind the operation

Colpak’s dispatch team – led by line-haul dispatcher Addie and local dispatcher Bec, oversees logistics with a keen eye on both big-picture strategy and the smaller, critical details.

Every part of our dispatch team handles a different responsibility of making sure our fleet is kept running smoothly. Addie manages out-of-town jobs, coordinating long-distance hauls and making sure each driver is prepped and equipped. Meanwhile, Bec organises local and semi-tilt tray jobs, handling dynamic routes and adapting day-to-day plans based on the demands of customers.

It’s not just about tracking: our dispatchers are also real-time problem solvers who have to help drivers navigate unexpected challenges and work toward simple solutions. And just as often, it’s about giving them a calm, reassuring voice to help them breathe, refocus, and work through a solution.
